Sony BDP-S360 Blu-ray Player
The Sony BDP-S360 Blu-ray player is a perfect entry-level Blu-Ray player. The design of the device is simple with straightforward control buttons on the console and a compact body, making it easy to slide it in anywhere. The black glass-like look of the BDP-S360 is very stylish. It also got features like Profile 2.0 support and on-board decoding for Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio Essential audio formats. Other key features includes the Full HD 1080p output, DVD up-scaling technology, Bonus View feature and Bravia Sync Technology. One of my favorite features on the Sony BDP-S360 Blu-ray player is the BD-Live support that can be accessed through the Ethernet connection where you can download updates straight from the internet. The sound quality of the movies played on this player was pretty good. We also have no complaints over the video quality. The videos played were crisp and sharp, even during close-ups and fast action sequences. My only complaint is its slow loading time. It also lacks online streaming and have no access to any of the services like YouTube unlike some of its competitors.
Nevertheless, the Sony BDP-S360 Blu-ray player is still a very decent Blu-ray movie player. Whether it is the best player in the market remains to be a matter of preference. If you are looking for a device that not only play Blu-ray movies, but also has a whole host of other bells and whistles, then this model may not be right for you. If you are looking for a straightforward player that produces excellent image quality, the Sony BDP-S360 Blu-ray player may prove to be a good buy for you.
