Canon Digital Camera Review

There are many different sorts of Canon digital cameras available on the market. Canon has been manufacturing cameras for several years and its digital cameras are some of the best for the price. The current digital cameras that Canon offers include the Canon EOS series and the Canon Powershot series. The Canon 5D Mark II digital camera is the 1st EOS digital SLR camera to have both video capture and still capture. This Canon 5D camera includes all of the latest upgrades as previous models were lacking in some particular critical areas compared to rival's products.

The camera now has a 21.2 megapixel sensor which is particularly fascinating for those that like to shot professional quality. The resolution is the most recent at A900. This camera can be considered a premium digital camera.The Canon Powershot is an example of the most well liked Canon digital camera available for your average picture taker. One of the latest Powershot models, as of March 2009, is the Canon Powershot A480. The body was built to be in a more normal camera style. The sensor resolution has been increased to 10 mega pixels and the camera shoots with a marginally wider angle then before. There are also five more scene modes to selected from rather than ten.

As with lots of the Canon products is has face and motion detection and will adjust the settings to capture these subjects.The controls and present modes have been extended to you can have more suppleness using your own settings or shooting in tricky locations. It is possible to set the contrast, saturation, color adjustments, sharpness and shutter time by hand. The Canon digital camera SD1100 IS was engineered to deal with the new image stabilization system so its edges are software and slightly thicker then the previous models. There's also an optical viewfinder, which is beginning to become less common in digital cameras.

It includes a built in optical image stabilization, 8 megapixel still mode, optical viewfinder, 2.5 inch LCD screen, face detection, 3x optical zoom, and 30 frames per second picture mode to name only a few features.Face detection is really the latest feature for digital cameras and all of Canon's new models have face as well as motion detection. You can mix multiple overlapping shots into one long photo.Canon's digital cameras are always offering the gambles features for price and there 2 ranges of EOS and Powershot provide camera options for your professional photographers as well as the more general picture taker. They continue to be a major player in the camera industry and as long as they focus on quality they will continue to do so. [http://canon-digital-camera.info]Canon Digital Camera

Sony Bravia XBR KDL-52XBR6 52-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LCD HDTV

The interesting thing is that the XBR6 has a VGA input that is really usable. Hooking a computer up will allow you to use this as a 52" computer monitor. Get your mail, look at pictures, play music (yes, there's a separate audio computer input), and read the newspaper now that some newspapers allow you to access the exact image of the newspaper as it appeared in print. And it all looks just as good (well, better, really) as it does on a dedicated computer monitor.

great gadgets if portability matters: Sony VAIO VGN-P530H/Q

Sony VAIO VGN-P530H/Q Lifestyle PC - Black

Your portal to the world, the fashionable VAIO® P Series Lifestyle PC delivers your entertainment and computing in a single go-anywhere design. Features like built-in mobile broadband and real-time GPS functionality tell only a partial story. The bottom line is that this chic little 1.5lb (with standard battery) computing sidekick will make a perfect fit with your life, whether it’s for business, pleasure, or both.

This is such a nicely made laptop. Awesome style, beautiful design..not a bad price considering Sony Vaio's past history. The text is going to be small and it's something you will have to deal with if you want the portability.You can increase the font size but I didn't like how it distorted some of the graphics. Keyboard is decent as well for the size.

* Product Dimensions: 4.8 x 9.7 x 0.8 inches ; 1.5 pounds
* Intel® Processor (1.33GHz)
* Genuine Microsoft® Windows Vista® Home Basic 32-bit
* 8.0" extra-widescreen LCD with XBRITE-ECO™ technology & LED backlight
* 2GB of pre-installed RAM & 60GB Serial ATA hard drive
* Integrated Mobile Broadband and A2DP Bluetooth® technology
* The Size: size of this product is just amazing. There are few other netbooks came out but this is the smallest. Very handy and portable. I mean who's gonna beat the size of 9.65" x 4.72" x 0.78" and the weight of 1lb 4.8oz? The only thing is, it's not going to fit on your hip pocket, like it advertised. But It will fit on your hand just fine, or for girls, it will fit on your small purse.
* The resolution: Most of the netbooks came out with the screen resolution of 1028 x 680, but Sony made this 1600 x 768, which provides more comfortable views for users. Although, the 8 inch screen is kindda too small for that resolution, you might feel tired after looking at the screen for long time.

* The instant booting system: The instant booting system (based on Linux system) takes about 15 seconds to boot up, you can browse websites, watch movies or listen to musics. You can also boot up the computer to windows mode from there. This comes very handy.

Nikon D40

Nikon D40 with AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED II
* Product Dimensions: 30.5 x 12 x 16.5 cm ; 477 g
* 6MP DSLR with Max Resolution of 3008 x 2000
* Large 2.5 inch LCD viewing screen
* 2.5 fps continuous shooting speed, up to 100 shots
* SD memory card compatible
* Compatible with extensive range of lenses and filters

Using the D40’s superb features is easy, thanks to the huge 2.5-inch screen, which displays full shooting information and handy access to all your image settings – you can even personalise the display.
The D40 is small but perfectly formed – as easily hand-held and portable as a compact digital camera, but offering the technological advantages and lens flexibility that only a digital SLR can. Weighing in at less than 500g (ex-battery), it’s light enough to carry anywhere, yet solid enough to stand up to tough conditions and constant use – because with a camera this good, you’ll want to take it everywhere!
The D40 is one of the best cameras Nikon has produced. Why? Because it's small and compact and so easy to use. WHat a great idea to display the camera settings on the back. It works will all of the new Nikon lens, to make the camera compete I suggest you buy one of the55-200 VR lens, or if your budget can go a bit further get the 18-200 VR. As this camera is now under £ 300, it does not make any sense to buy the D40x just for the extra pixels. You only need this if you are going to zoom in and crop your pictures.
*You can set it to adjust the ISO rating automatically. This means you can take pictures in poor light without flash and the camera will automatically raise the sensitivity of the sensor up to 1600 ISO from its standard 200. This adds hugely to the flexibility of the camera.

Some compacts have auto ISO settings but they don't go much above 200 or 400 because the picture quality from the small sensor starts to deteriorate significantly above around 400 ISO. On the D40, 1600 ISO shows hardly any difference in quality from 200 ISO. Other DSLRs can be set at high ISO ratings but not all can be set to choose a high rating automatically as you take the picture if low light needs it.

This is a fantastic feature. It revolutionises the way you take pictures. It means you can often take better pictures inside without flash than with flash. (Though if you set the dial to Auto, the flash will always fire when light is low. You need to choose a non-auto setting to stop the flash firing.)

Confusingly, there are two entries in the menus for auto ISO. This one is under the Custom Setting Menu, item 10, ISO auto. And amazingly for such a revolutionary feature, the factory default is "Off". Turn it on straightaway if you're going to use manual settings.

* It has a high flash sync speed of 1/500. This means you can use fill-in flash at faster shutter speeds than on, for example, the D40X (only 1/200) for sports shots or portraits on a bright sunny day. (You need a fast shutter speed if you want to freeze action, or if you've set a wide aperture for a portrait in bright light).

* I'm impressed by the kit lens. Maybe I've been lucky with the example I got but my experience isn't in line with those who say the kit lens is inadequate or the weakest part of the system. If anything, I've found it's one of the strongest parts. But, as I say, maybe I was just lucky with this example.

* The camera feels nice to handle. My daughters say it sounds nice too! Its shutter makes a nice professional sounding noise as you press the button (as long as you turn off the artificial beeping noises.)

• Perfect plant nutrition with 85 macronutrients and micronutrients for optimal plant health.

C. Tending and harvesting guide with recipes
• Walks you through everything you need to know to grow and harvest your plants, as well as tips and recipes for enjoying your harvests.

The products came quickly and the instructions for assembly were very clear and well written with excellent diagrams. I came to realize that this somewhat pricey product at least comes from a company that produces a classy product (a rare thing these days). I found a space on a shelf beside the basement stairs, and placed both assembled gardens there. I also bought and placed a digital thermometer with maximum/minimum temperature memory readouts ($10 at Radio Shack), because I was unsure of what temperature extremes the plants might experience in that location (68-72 as it turns out).

The seed kits contain pre-seeded planting pods. Each pod is basically a plastic cup shaped frame with two pieces of foam rubber inside the cup part, like two slices of bread with the seeds sandwiched between them. They simply insert into the seven holes in the top of the garden's water tank. The Salad Greens and Herbs come with seven pods per kit, while the Tomatos come with three pods plus four hole plugs-the plants are bigger so three of them take up thw whole space available. The hole plugs prevent evaporation of the water through the unoccupied holes.

The water tank holds exactly one gallon of regular drinking water. Well water is not recommended, presumably because of impurities, and since I am on a well I bought two one-gallon plastic jugs of 'drinking water' at the store for 50 cents each and filled the tanks with their contents. A pump in the tank takes water and pipes it to the rim of each of the seven holes in the tank's top, and here the trickle of water flows into the foam sandwich of each seed pod. The foam stays moist and the rest of the water drips back down into the tank. The garden's 'computer' cycles the water flow on and off according to the amount recommended for the type of plant being grown. A water level sensor turns on a flashing red light when it is time to add more water to the tank.

The top of the garden is a reflector with two compact-fluorescent lamps, of the variety that has the special ultraviolet (UV) coating that causes the emmitted light to resemble sunlight. The reflector rides on a vertical pole that extends up from the garden's base, so you can raise and lower the lamps as required to keep them the correct distance above the plants. The garden's 'computer' also turns the lamps on and off according to a schedule tailored to the type of plant. If using the gardens in a place where the light might be a problem at night, you can syncronize the computer so that the lights are on only during the daytime and off when you are trying to sleep.

The seed kits come with little clear plastic cups that cover each pod until the seeds have germinated, then you can dispose of them. The kits also come with a bag of nutrient tablets, which you add to the water tank when the computer prompts you to by flashing a red light. The nutrients are tailored to the type of plant being grown, and there are enough of them to feed the plants during their anticipated life span.

I planted one garden with five salad green (leaf lettuce) pods, plus one pod each from the Herb kit, chives and parsley. The other garden got the threee pods from the Cherry Tomato kit; two reds and one yellow variety.

Each seed pod has a label that tells you how many days to wait for plants to appear after germination. All of my plants appeared like clockwork.

I have had the gardens for about six weeks now, and have been enjoying salads containing lettuce, parsley and chives plus other odds and ends from the fridge, for the last two or three weeks. The lettuce and herbs are all beautiful, with no problems from bugs or too much/too little water, excessive temperatures, etc. No need to wash the plants or check for bugs or pick off bad spots, everything goes straight to the salad bowl. What a joy! Even with only five lettuce plants, I have to eat two meals including salad each day to keep up with the growth. This would easily feed two people, and if all seven salad green pods had been used, three people.

The tomatoes are all doing well ahnd have been pruned according to instructions. It will be some time yet before they produce flowers, and then fruit. But based on the health of the plants, I expect a good yield.

Each seed kit comes with a full color manual/booklet that covers all aspects of 'planting', germinating, feeding, pruning (if required) and then harvesting the plants. There are also photos of plants where things have gone wrong (leaves burned because the lamps were not raised up as the plants grew taller, etc) with clear instructions on how to recognize problems and correct them. Harvesting instructions clearly tell how much can be taken at a time without killing the plant, and so on.

The AeroGrow gardens are a well designed, well built product with excellent documentation. All my visitors are amazed at how well the product works, and many have gone out and bought their own. I anticipate years of improved eating because of this product.

Perfect Gadgets for xbox gamers: xbox 360 wireless controller

xbox 360 wireless controller:
A must-have for XBox 360 Gamers
If you've got an XBox 360, you really need to get your hand on one or two wireless controllers. These controllers are GREAT for keeping your gaming area free of clutter. To start with, the controller is much smaller than the standard XBox controller was.

For control items, you start with the standard blue X, yellow Y, red B and green A buttons. There are two thumbsticks, one on the upper left and one in the center right. There is also a directional (d-pad) in the lower left.

Next, you have a pair of shoulder buttons at the "top" of the unit, up above the other buttons. You also have a pair of triggers below those shoulder buttons.

Finally, you have a center X button that can be used to turn the console on and off, plus a "start" and "back" tiny white buttons on either side of it.

The unit has a rechargeable battery unit inside it, the size of two AA batteries. You have to buy a recharger set SEPARATELY that lets you charge up while you play. In essence you plug the charger into the back of the controller - and the other end into the USB port in the front of the XBox 360 unit. So you play with the controller "wired" as it charges up. When it's fully charged again, you just pop off the wire and keep playing.

The range of the wireless unit is 30', which is probably much further than anybody is really going to even try playing a game at. The wireless is much easier on your hand - no cable holding you down - plus it's a great help in keeping your gaming area organized. You can easily pass the controller from person to person, and visitors can come and go without tripping over wires.

* 30-foot wireless range
* Integrated 2.4GHz high-performance wireless technology
* Ergonomic design enables maximum comfort and endless gameplay
* Left and right shoulder buttons
* Two Analog pressure-point triggers, two vibration feedback motors, eight-way directional pad are included

The Xbox 360 Black Wireless Controller gives you 30 feet of room to play your favorite games. You'll get up to 40 hours of gameplay from two standard AA batteries -- or connect a Play & Charge cable for uninterrupted play. Plug the Xbox 360 Headset into the controller for full duplex voice communication - a wireless first. With quick access to Xbox 360 features including DVDs, music, pictures, and more, along with the ability to support four wireless controllers simultaneously, gamers can experience wireless freedom, precision, high quality, and performance for endless gameplay. Vibration Control with On/Off settings Xbox Guide Button gives you quick access to all your favorite Xbox 360 system activities

The Gadgets for Your Learning: Kindle Ebook Reader

Kindle Ebook Reader

Kindle Ebook Reader
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Billy_Jean]Billy Jean

It brought online bookstores to people. Now Amazon is bringing ebooks to readers and the device to read them with too. We're stepping into the future of reading as more people catch on to reading ebooks. Without doubt, the Kindle ebook reader has done wonders in paving the way and now we have the Kindle 2, bigger, faster and more powerful. Fasten your seatbelts!

With the supply chain of books becoming increasingly e-based, paper-filled books were always going to turn into e books. Now that we have just the perfect all-in-one device to procure, read and bring with you all the books you want anywhere you go and anytime you want, that's hard to resist. Oprah loves her electronic book reader, so too will many of us love ours.

There are several brands of electronic book readers to choose from in the market. Having that said, don't bother to look beyond the top of the pack as many of the rest are still in beta. By far the two most proven brands are the Amazon Kindle and Sony PRS. Both have generated running series and are already into their latter models. The consensus though, is Amazon with its Kindle 2 is fast drawing away from competition with Sony's flagship PRS - 700 a distant second.

The Kindle ebook reader is in great demand. Availability of stock at Amazon is at best intermittent. Waiting time fluctuates and they are not accepting overseas orders although some 3rd-party distributers and retailers do ship abroad with due shipping charges and mark-up. They are also sporadically spotted on eBay and when they are, are surely to be accompanied by price premium.

Electronic book readers are a boon not only to people, they are environmentally friendly too. Imagine the number of trees a top brand like Kindle can be credited with saving from the paper mill for books let alone the total effect of all e book reader brands combined. Through the Whispersync, the 15 million or so iPhones and iPod Touches are recently equipped to read Amazon e-titles making them green too overnight.

Kindle ebooks save money too. Savvy readers would realize that Amazon subsidizes its Kindle book sales and provides free sampling of e-books so you are never mistaken about buying a book. That may be string attached to sell its electronic book reader but the bottom line makes sense at the end of the day. Even for occasional readers, this should be a no-brainer. That's on top of all the other good stuff it brings.

Do you know why book sales for the [http://www.kindle-2.org/reasons-why-you-should-buy-kindle-2/]Kindle eBook Reader are subsidized to promote the [http://www.kindle-2.org/]Electronic Book Reader? We have the facts that are self-explanatory.

What to Look For When Buying an LCD HDTV

Samsung LN52A750 52-Inch 1080p DLNA LCD HDTV with Red Touch of Color

What to Look For When Buying an LCD HDTV
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Alex_Bradbury]Alex Bradbury

Gone are the days of cathode ray tubes. This is because there are better models now that are clearer and thinner in the market. One particular example is the LCD HDTV. If you don't know how to buy one, this article should point you in the right direction.

LCD HDTVs come in different sizes. The smallest is 15 inches and the widest is 46 inches. If you plan to buy one that is 30 inches or smaller, the price is relative to that of conventional televisions so it is best to buy something bigger.

If you do that, keep in mind that the LCD HD television is selling for almost the same price as a Plasma television.

Since the LCD HDTV does not take up that much space, this can be set up anywhere in the house. But again, you have to choose the correct size that fits your viewing environment. The best way to do that is to measure the area diagonally. This can only work if your model is bottom-mounted, hidden or comes with removable speakers.

But screen size should not be the deciding factor as to which brand you will buy from the store. You should also pay attention to the contrast ratio as this will tell you brightest and darkest light values a display can produce at the same time. If the contrast is high, then this means that the television is worth buying.

Apart from contrast ratio, you should also pay attention to the aspect ratio which describes the relationship of screen width to screen height. The higher it is the better. In fact, this is the trend these days as it will make the show you are watching much clearer on a wide screen format.

Naturally, you want a television that can play video in various formats. This allows you to plug in your video camera even if it is 3 or 4 years old and don't have time yet to buy a new one that has new features.

Another thing your LCD HDTV must have are USB ports so that you can also upload stuff without the use of a plug. Before you buy the unit, make sure you know what the ports can do because this is different for each brand.

HDTV's need to get a signal and you can get this from an antenna, cable or satellite. If you don't have a built in tuner, you need to find out what accessories you need to make it work so this can be setup and working once you bring this home.

LCD HDTV's cost a lot of money so you have to know what to look for when you are out shopping. While you are at the store, compare everything that we talked about including the price. If possible try to see how the television performs when a dark scene is being played. Since this might be the unit you will bring home, familiarize yourself with the remote and the other aspects so you won't have any problems.

The LCD HDTV is worth buying. In the end, it is up to you which one you will get which is dependent on different factors but the most important one happens to be how much you have in your wallet. Perfect Gadgets for New Photographers: Canon PowerShot G10

Buy this gadget for newbie in photo: Canon PowerShot G10 Digital Camera - Black (14.7MP, 5x Optical Zoom) 3.0" PureColor LCD II Viewfinder

This is an excellent Camera, easy to use and handle. The controls are easy to manage and the results are excellent. One draw back though is, that it features so many things, that it takes a while to follow instructions to the more basic items, like reducing file size permanently in the camera, when taking pictures to name one of a few. There should be an essential written guide be included.
With the rich detail provided by a 14.7 Megapixel sensor, the coverage of a 5x wide-angle lens and the ultra-rapid imaging power of Canon’s DIGIC 4 processor, the PowerShot G10 pushes every boundary. The inclusion of RAW recording allows total post-shoot image control.

* 26 shooting modes with full manual and custom settings

The Best Gadget to Watch Movies at Home: Sony BDP-S550

Sony BDP-S550 1080p Blu-ray Player

1) BD-Live functionality works great, granted I've only tried it with "Transformers." I hooked the player up to a cable modem directly, and I could download the features in mere seconds.
2) Besides regular fast-forward, rewind, and chapter skip buttons, the S550 has advance or reverse buttons take you forward or back in 10-15 second increments. Press the button multiple times to increase the time jump. It's very useful when you want to catch a mumbled piece of dialog again, or to see an instant replay of an action sequence.
3) The player will resume where you last stopped a non-BD-Java enhanced disc if you power down the unit, as long as you don't eject the disc.
4) The display button puts on-screen the time elapsed or remaining in a movie, audio codec (such as DTS HD Master) with sampling rate and number of active speakers, and video codec with instantaneous bit rate. When playing an uncompressed LPCM track, the display tells you the bit resolution as well (16-bit, 24 bit, etc.).
5) The player allows you to change audio tracks on the fly with every Blu-ray disc I have tried. This might just be a general Blu-ray feature, but I appreciate it because with DVD, some discs locked you into a particular audio track, and you would have to return to the disc menu to change it.

Blu-Ray Or Not
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Hubert_Crowell]Hubert Crowell

The industry has settled in with Blu-ray as the disk format for HDTV. Now the question that people are starting to ask is; is it time to switch to Blu-ray and get that new DVD player? Blu-ray is the new DVD format that stores movies almost exclusively in 1080p resolution. I am sure that we have all heard of HDTV, but what is 1080p? Is 1080p better than the HDTV that we will all be watching on our TV's in 2009?

What is the down side of Blu-ray? What is the up side of playing the highest resolution DVD's that the industry has to offer?

1080p is simply the number of original lines going across the screen, counted from top to bottom. 2008 over the air TV's were using 480i resolution, in other words 240 lines were being set over the air and the television set displayed each frame twice with a slight offset. The (i) is for interlacing and (p) is for progressive, where each frame is displayed only once at twice the resolution as the same number with the (i).

Standard DVD players can output via the component connections, normally 480p and some slightly more expensive models will output 720p and even 1080p by internal processing of the 480p image on the DVD.

So why switch to Blu-ray?

Advantages:

Lets first look at the advantages of Blu-ray DVD's.

1. The original image is stored normally at a resolution of 1080p, the highest currently offered for home use.
2. The signal is digital, no more snow in the picture.
3. The main output is HDMI, which carries up to eight channels of digital sound as well as the picture over one cable.
4. Most Blu-ray players can convert your existing DVD's to 1080p for a better viewing experience.

Disadvantages:

1. 1080p is great, however you will need a screen larger than 42 inches to see the difference, so unless you are going to also buy a large HDTV it will be hard to tell a difference.
2. If you do not have a HDTV with HDMI inputs, you will have to use the lower signal outputs of the Blu-ray.
3. If you have a projector that is a few years old, it may not have the HDMI inputs required for the best results.
4. Be aware that Blu-ray uses High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) for copy protection. If your display device does not have the secret key, or has any problems you will not see a picture.
5. Because of the handshake requirements of HDCP and the signal processing required for Blu- ray, there is a noticeably high time delay when starting to play the DVD and the main feature. Expect pauses at the start or when searching.
6. HDMI requires much more expensive cables. The high quality cables are larger thus not as flexible this can cause problems connecting to the display device when in a close space. The HDMI connector is also small with no locking screws. Connection can sometimes become a problem.
Cost:
Not only is the Blu-ray more expensive, the DVD's are also much more expensive. Currently you can get any content on standard DVD that is offered on Blu-ray DVD.
Buying a Blu-ray DVD player will almost result in purchasing a complete theater system to replace what you are currently using, or you will not see any improvement.

Bottom line:

I recommend that the last item you purchase for your entertainment center is a Blu-ray DVD player. Upgrade your TV first and make sure that it is at least 1080p. Go as large as you can afford or have space for.

I have a 42-inch 1080p LCD television for normal viewing and I may never install a Blu-ray because we cannot see the difference. I do have a small inexpensive DVD player that can upscale to 1080p through the HDMI output, but I prefer to use the component output at 720p for all my DVD viewing. I set the TV to the cinema mode to fill the screen with 16:9 movies and it as good as it gets for a 42-inch display.

I also have a theater for the larger movie experience. The 20-year-old projector still gives a great picture with a line double image and the CRT's create a nice soft image that is easy on the eyes. At some point I will upgrade to a 1080p HDTV projector for my nine-foot wide screen and then maybe, just maybe in about ten more years consider a Blu-ray DVD player

Perfect Gadgets for Outdoor Enthusiasts: Suunto Vector

Suunto Vector Wrist-Top Computer Watch: The Essential tool for serious hiker, climber, adventure racer

Suunto Vector Wrist-Top Computer Watch with Altimeter, Barometer, Compass, and Thermometer. Versatile wrist-top computer with altimeter, barometer, compass, thermometer, and stopwatch.
The barometer is VERY useful. The barometer function is constantly operating, and accounts for a nice little symbol in the upper left of the display showing pressure trends over the past few hours. This is very useful if you understand barometric pressure trends and their likely results. If you do not, look it up and learn, as you will find it to be very useful if you spend a lot of time in the brush. Remember that the barometric pressure must be calibrated against absolute sea-level readings from time to time, especially during rapidly changing weather conditions. Once you understand the relationship between altitude/changing weather, you will master the complexities of both the barometer and the altimeter, and understand just how simple they are, and how reliable this device really is. I have checked it against my high-end GPS and other barometers many times, and it is very accurate indeed.
The temp is useful if you need to know the temperature; like all such devices, it will have to be taken off of your body for about ten minutes before you will get an accurate reading.

FEATURES-Has all the features you could want. 12/24 hr time keeping, 3 alarms, compass, barometer/thermometer, altimeter, stopwatch, logs, split stopwatch, countdown timer, date, rotating bezel and seconds elapse around the edge of the face.

AESTHETICS-The watch itself is a little large but it looks really good. I prefer the black background/white numbers and it looks very good on this X-Black version I got. At first I wasn't sure about the orange inner ring but I love it now. The backlight makes the watch very legible at night but isn't so bright that it bothers you.

FUNCTION-All of the buttons are easy to use and the manual, although intimidating, is actually not hard to understand.
