Perfect gadget for people using iPod mp3 players, The sound is very good from this little pig! Rich tones. It is not cheaply made--solid piece of pork.:) The remote works well.It is a small hassle to turn the tiny switch on at the back base of the pig before inserting the Ipod. I guess you could just leave it on all the time, but I turn it off. You can not turn the unit on/off from the remote. Otherwise, very happy with the purchase of this great gadget for you or your lovers
