Envious HP Envy 13 and 15 Series

You have to envy Hewlett-Packard's new Envy 13 and 15 series notebooks for their elegance and style, not to mention the powerful performance that will make your resource hungry applications run ever so smoothly. The stylish new look of these notebooks is bound to remind you of Apple's Mac Book Pro or Dell's Adamo. Weighted 1.7KGs and 2.35KGs respectively, Envy 13 and 15 are pretty lightweight for a notebook. Both of these elegant notebooks are wrapped with a full metal casing, which is sleek and looks pretty cool.

Envy 13 has a 13 inch back-lit LED display. Powered by Intel's energy efficient Core Duo SL9400 processor with 1.86 GHz of clock speed and 8 MB L2 Cache, this machine is built for performance. 3 GB of DDR3 RAM seems to be adequate enough to support the mighty processor. Although 250 GB of hard drive storage may seem a little less, but with the availability of USB external hard drives at comfortable costs now-a-days, that should not be a major concern. HP Envy 13 comes with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 graphics card which has 512 MB on-board memory, enough to satisfy the appetite of hardcore gamers and professional animators alike. For network connectivity, it has built in 10/100/1000 LAN card. The notebook can act as a Wi-Fi client as it has WLAN support for IEEE 802.11 a/g/n. You can also connect your Bluetooth devices without any hassle.

HP Envy 15 looks just as similar as Envy 13, but it is even more powerful. It is slightly bigger in dimensions, has a LED display of 15.6". Although clocked lower than it's vis-a-vis at 1.6GHz, Intel's Core i7-720QM is a quad core processor which outperforms Core Duo SL9400 easily. This model comes with DDR2 RAM compared to Envy 13's DDR3, but while the later has a total memory of 3 GB, for Envy 15 it is 4 GB. A hard drive worth 320 GB of storage capacity should serve the purpose for most of us, although it might appear to be a little inadequate for some. With AMD's new ATI Radeon HD4830 which has 1 GB of on-board memory, Envy 15 is powerful enough to run all the latest games and graphics applications at full throttle. A notebook with such high specs needs a steady power supply, and its 6 cell battery pack should do the job at ease.

These supreme notebooks come with Windows 7 Home Premium to give you a true experience of 64-bit computing. A perfect blend of power, performance and style, HPs Envy 13 and 15 series notebooks are certainly the toys anyone would love to play with.
